Baptism
Before you are baptised, you take Foundation of Faith, a 24-week course that prepares you for the step.
What baptism means
Article 8 of our Statement of Belief, Baptism & Communion:
We believe in water baptism by immersion as an outward testimony of an inward change, symbolizing death to sin and new life in Christ. We also believe in the Lord’s Supper (Holy Communion) as a sacred act of remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice and anticipation of His return.
Scripture: Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38; Romans 6:3–4; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26.
Foundation of Faith
Foundation of Faith is 24 weeks of preparation for baptism. It is open to anyone who wants to be baptised at Miracle Light International Church.
How to start
- Tell us you would like to be baptised: fill in the connect card or contact the office.
- The office will add you to the next Foundation of Faith group.
- Come to the course and to the Sunday service while you prepare.
